GLN International (hereinafter GLN) announced on the 13th that it will launch Samsung Wallet’s overseas QR payment service through a partnership with Samsung Electronics.

With the launch of this service, customers using Samsung Wallet can conveniently use the GLN QR payment service at lower fees than general credit cards at 8 million affiliated merchants across Thailand and 1.5 million affiliated merchants in Japan partnered with GLN.

Samsung Wallet is a representative digital wallet service used by domestic smartphone users, and customers can easily use overseas QR payment services without a physical card or foreign currency exchange simply by adding the GLN overseas payment service function to their Samsung Wallet account.

GLN, a subsidiary of Hana Bank, provides various overseas payment services in major global regions and countries, such as ▲QR payments ▲QR ATM (Automated Teller Machine) withdrawals ▲overseas remittances ▲tuition payment for international students.

In addition, the GLN QR payment service can be easily experienced by anyone not only through the GLN mobile app but also through Hana Financial Group applications such as 'Hana One Q' and 'Hana Money,' as well as various financial and banking applications such as 'Toss,' 'KB Star Banking,' 'iM Bank,' 'K Bank,' and 'Naver Pay.'
